Restoring Old Floors

There was an old house in a nearby town that has become a landmark.  The house was built in 1907 and remodeled in the 1920's. When we first saw the floors they were quite neglected, blackened by years of adhesives from carpets and dirt.
We started on the second floor sanding away the gunk and dirt.  The more we sanded the more the floors came to life, showing the beautiful, ornate inlays around the rooms.
Here are a few photos of the work done.

The more we worked on the floors, the more we were in awe of the workmanship done by past craftsmen. UNBELIEVABLE!
