A Different Wood
This was a pre-finished floor that we did not know what the wood was. Was it bamboo? It was soft, lots of scratch marks. We figured it was a tropical wood. Foyer Powder room Breakfast nook Kitchen We started sanding and saw how quickly the finish was coming up. The more we sanded we recognized that it was rubber wood. When we finish chairs and tables that is where we see this wood. This was the first rubber wood floor we have refinished The homeowner wanted to change the color to Jacobean, a nice dark brown color.
