Redo the Staircase

Image
This staircase originally had carpet. The homeowner is renovating the front foyer. So we put new treads, risers, stringers and cap to complete the stairs, matching the floors she had upstairs. (Before) (After) (Before) (After)

A New Look

With this staircase, we had previously taken down the the newel post because we had refinished the floors a few weeks ago.  We tore out the carpet and installed new treads and risers. We also tore down the rest of the balustrade and installed a custom made balustrade. It was so nice to update the house to a more modern look. 😊

Two in One

This past winter we refinished two staircases in one house, the front grand foyer and the back steps. The front staircase was a spiral we sanded, stained and finished to match the floors that another flooring company refinished.  BEFORE DURING AFTER The back steps, we took apart the handrails and refinished them in our woodshop. We refinished the newel posts on site, stained them to match the refinished floors.  BEFORE DURING AFTER
